Studio Dan Meiner's Pennway Place is THE place to host a reception right now in Kansas City. How do I know that? Well, besides that it is an amazing and stylish place design by Dan himself... I get hundreds of hits from brides in KC searching "Pennway Place" in google.

This video by Tyler Wirken, shows the space used as both the wedding and reception.

This video was created by another one of my favorite KC wedding legends, Tyler Wirken. You've heard me gush about Tyler and Wirken Photography time and time again... so, this time, I'll let the video speak for itself. It is beautiful, artistic and real. Enjoy!

Welcome Baskets | DIY Bags for Wedding Guests

For my wedding, my Mom and I put these gift bags together for our guests when they arrived. I love how they turned out!

Each bag contained 2 mini Italian Sparkling Wines, a bag of homemade cookies, a bag of snack mix, an agenda for the weekend and a list of the names of everyone's cottages.

What you'll need per bag :

1 large Cello Bag (http://www.cellobags.com/)
2 medium Cello Bags
6 cookies
1 cup of snack mix (homemade or store bought)
2 circle stickers from Paper Source
1 sheet of card stock (8.5 x 11)
2 ft. ribbon
Printer

I printed the "Welcome" folded bag topper on half of the card stock sheet. On the other half, I printed the agenda with the cottage assignments on the other side.
