Ribbon | Unique Decor Ideas

Speaking of ribbons... Tied around your flowers is not the only way to incorporate them into your wedding!

So often, I encounter brides who are looking for a unique way to incorporate their ‘colors’ into the décor of their wedding. Not long ago I stumbled across this beautiful photo of a table setting in the spring issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.

It is so incredibly stunning, and beautiful—yet simple. With the selection of ribbon available on the world wide web the opportunity for a bride to create a one of a kind look is definitely within reach.

Today, I'm supposed to pick out the ribbon I want to use for the bouquets - scary! I LOVE ribbon, there are so many choices - endless selections of beautiful ribbons. AND, I'm a little picky about ribbon... okay, very picky. Every time I order a spool online it seems to be just a hint the wrong shade. Besides colors, there are so many material options - taffeta, dupioni, double faced satin, grosgrain. Is it strange that I feel like this decision is as important as my dress? Ribbon can completely set the tone for your flowers... and your wedding. Is it fancy (satin), luxurious (dupioni) or charming (grosgrain)?

So... here we go. I've narrowed down to this selection. Let the elimination begin!
