Rehearsal Dinner | Family Style Tuscan Dinner at Home

I LOVE rehearsal dinners. A small intimate group of your closest friends and family sharing a meal with all of the pending excitement of the big day... so much fun. This rehearsal dinner, held at the home of the groom's father was perfect - a Tuscan family style dinner by the pool at sunset.

We set two long table with an adjoining head table.

The cafe lights strung throughout the patio provided the perfect ambiance.

Bride & Groom chalkboard seating cards.

We used ivory linens with a brown burlap runner, natural chairs and vintage ball jars to create a casual, relaxed table. I filled bronze buckets with wildflowers to enhance the 'tuscany' style party.

With bottles of wine on the table, and large platters passed around - everyone was able to help themselves.

DIY | Welcome Baskets for Your Guests

When you have out of town guests traveling in for your wedding, a welcome basket is a great way to show your gratitude. Above, I've assembled a large basket for a group that is staying together. We included the following in our basket :

-Bottle Water

-KC Boulevard Wheat Beer

-Starbucks Vio

-M&M's

-Granola with Fruit & Nuts

-Gourmet Nuts & Pretzel Snack

-Fresh Fruit

I wrapped the entire basket in celophane with a large satin ribbon and included a note with the transportation schedule from the hotel to the wedding events.
