While at my sister's house for Thanksgiving, I was bragging about one of our new Bliss List Members, Stella & Dot... so, we went to the website and I decided to do a little Christmas Listing with my Mom and Sister in between turkey bastings. Here's what I came up with...

ABOVE : I love this smoky drop earring. I am typically only seen in really simple studs (diamonds or pearls), but I love these - I think they are so sophisticated. And to top it off - $38. They definitely look a lot more expensive than that!

My friend has these - they look real! Not kidding, when I saw them I thought they had been a gift for her wedding. At a whopping $39 they're quite a steal.

This is so delicate - I love the tiny feather!

Our newest member of The Bliss List is Blue Bouquet - an incredibly creative group of designers raising the bar for wedding design in Kansas City.  As an introduction to this new member, I've included some images of a recent Fall KC Real Wedding that speak volumes to their extreme talents.  

Here, they've draped the exterior of Country Club Christian Church (61st & Ward Pkwy in Kansas City) in vibrant orange fabric.  What a statement. 

I'm a sucker for a pair of wreaths on the church doors!

This may be the most full and luxuriously rustic swag I've ever seen.

Photobooths | Picture Perfect Photobooths | Kansas City Photoboooths

Last week, I had a little fun in one of KC's premiere photobooths (and one of the newest members of The Bliss List) Picture Perfect Photobooths.  In this one, I hung my light blue pashmina as the background - I like the extra color it gives the photo.  Megan (owner of Picture Perfect) and I discussed the fun possibilities of adding a fun background to match the couple's wedding... more to come on that later!

I stopped by Natasha's Mulberry & Mott and picked up this amazingly huge s'mores cupcake piled with toasted meringue.  Natasha is now featuring her specialty cupcakes on Mondays & Tuesdays - as the public demanded!

Megan and I had some more fun with her wedding veil, an Animal Cracker Cookie (Natasha's - isn't it adorable?!), and a fabric covered "J" from Anthropology that hangs in my office.

DIY | Fall Bouquet | Wedding | Claire Ryser Photos

This bouquet of Roses & Wheat is so simple to create!

I started with cream garden roses, pale pink roses, and wheat.

Gather the roses, then wrap with floral tape.  Start adding the wheat around the outside, creating a collar of wheat.  Then continue to tape until you have a sturdy handle.

 Cut the ends of the bouquet (I like about 8 inches of stems below the blooms), then wrap in burlap cover all of the floral tape.  Secure the burlap with pearl pins.

I love finding local weddings on national wedding blogs - especially weddings that have such great style!  Today while browsing 100 Layer Cake I stumbled upon Morgan and Dan's wedding that was held at Our Lady of Sorrow's church.  Morgan has a really fun blog called Design Tag... visit here!

Dan Meiners did the floral design - beautiful orchids!  Photographer, Tyler Wirken, never disappoints. 

Morgan designed her own invites... wow.  I love a DIY project that looks so professional!

KC Wedding Events | New Wedding Vendors in KC! | Photobooth | Stationery+Stylist | Photography

Yesterday afternoon, I took a spin around the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show.  When I attend these events - I'm looking to be "wowed"... after all, weddings (besides being all about the lifelong commitment to the love of your life!) are all about presentation.  Bridal Shows are a great way to get a feel for the level of creativity, attention to detail and overall brand of a wedding vendor.  These booths of new KC wedding talent blew me away!  

Photobooths are Hot, Hot, Hot!  This booth, Picture Perfect Photobooth, is owned by Megan Williams.  They've done a great job of branding their booth - modern, yet classic, fun and whimsical - everything a photobooth should be!  Visit their website for more info!  

The next booth was just as spectacular - a+joy invitations and styling!

This booth was like Style Me Pretty come to life!  Owner Ashley describes herself as "a full-time mother to a beautiful little lady, a full-time wife to a handsome husband and overflowing with creative ideas at all times."  

Her booth was adorned with "inspiration boards" for all types of weddings and events.  I love her rustic styling.  Speaking of styling... Ashley not only designs invitations, but she'll help you style your wedding - with colors, details and unique touches to your wedding day!
